How Do Bi-Metallic Lugs Provide a Secure Connection Between Copper and Aluminium Cables?
Bi-Metallic lugs are a specific electrical connector that is used for the joining between copper and aluminium cables. Both metals are different and require definite properties for making proper connections. Bi-metallic lugs are very useful in those systems where conductors are meant to be connected between copper and aluminium in the same circuit, such as power distribution systems, grounding systems, and electrical panels.
